Advice Use Local Tours

Huser Highland, one of the best viewing balconies of the Kackar Mountains, is famous for its "sea of clouds" scenery, especially at sunset. Watching the sun go down while swinging above the clouds at an altitude of 2400 meters is the most unforgettable moment of a Rize trip.

Critical Road & Transportation Warning

There are two different routes to reach Huser, and both are extremely challenging:

  • Route 1 (via Hacizen): The road climbing from the left of Hacizen Highland is very steep and rough. It is strongly not recommended to enter this road without a 4x4 vehicle and advanced driving experience; it might even be impossible to climb.
  • Route 2 (via Avusor-Toba): This route, accessed by turning left at Toba Highland on the Avusor road, is similarly difficult. It definitely requires a 4x4 or high-clearance off-road vehicle.

Our Recommendation: Instead of risking your own vehicle, choosing the tour minibuses departing from Ayder Highland or Camlihemsin center driven by locals who know the terrain is the safest and best option.
